ARTISTIC PRODUCTION pecific skills, such as sculpting stone, working with feathers, carving jade, or weaving cloth, were passed from generation to generation. Fine objects were produced for the use of the elite. With growing populations there was also an increased demand for both ritual and daily life objects, and ceramic molds were developed to mass-produce figures and utensils by the thousands. |
